Open Question: Why is the 2000 Porsche 911 the cheapest of the "newer" 911's ?

Why is the 2000 Porsche 911 the cheapest of the newer cars? The 911's on either side of 2000 model years are more expensive. Is it reliability, desirability or something else? Thanks What I meant was, why as a used car is the 2000 model year cheaper to buy than any other year? If you look at a list of current values there is a significant dip in prices at the model year 2000 both in wholesale and retail.... read more
